Maybe we shouldn’t put ourselves under pressure with this new year new you concept. Why don’t we all celebrate what we already have in life and just build upon that. When we start something new it is often doomed to failure because we don’t set small goals for our journey and so it is harder to reach our ultimate goal and this has a negative effect on us.
“Think Small “ is a book by Owain Service and Rory Gallagher about making small changes in your behaviour so that you can achieve big things. A good read or listen if that’s your preference. Give it a go if you want to actually achieve something for 2020 and beyond.

This from a recent photo shoot. I shot this at her home, which was a small space especially when you have to fit a five foot octobox in the room. Don’t you just love a challenge 😊. A Beautiful portrait of Bessie

This was her first time having a photo shoot. She sat there nervously waiting for me to show her the first pose; or was that me who was nervous? As I settled down I talked to her and guided her throughout the session, making it a joyful experience for both myself, my assistant and her. She gracefully flowed from one pose to the next, allowing me to capture her at her best and create some beautiful portraits for her to love. When I presented her with her photos she said she had fallen in love with herself.
A gorgeous portrait of Nicole
