Lately I’ve been shooting my portraits in black-and-white. I just love the contrast of light and shadows is created in each portrait. Of course you can’t just create these pictures just by putting a black and white filter on them. A self portrait
I did this portrait a few months ago. It may not be the best for portrait of myself but I do love the lighting in this and the journey to achieving this portrait from the set up to its execution.
Interesting Light
We were in a restaurant having a birthday meal when I saw this interesting light made by the blinds where we were sat on my partner’s face. So I captured these images. I love how all of these turned out. With the moody lighting and the way the sun is painted across her face.
